Create Archive (zip files) for a PC from
your Mac Download for only $4.00 Quickly Create Archives (zip files) from your Macintosh computer that don't have extra Macintosh information when opened with a PC. Are
you tired of creating Archives on your Macintosh computer, only to find extra
folders and files when you unzip them on a PC?
You are probably used to using the "Create Archive" Feature to make
zip files on your Mac OS-X system. This is a great way to quickly and
easily compress files to send to other Mac users... but what about your PC
users? The extra Macintosh specific information may confuse the PC user,
or cause their downstream processes to fail. For just $5.00, you can
download our Zip Files For PC software - a drag and drop application that will
convert your files and folders to zip files that can be quickly and easily
opened on a PC - without the confusing extra files. In other words, the __MACOSX
file (which contains resource fork information) and the __MACOSX folder will be
gone. Only the files usable by a PC user will get compressed into the zip
file.
